Ingredients:-
Egg-4(Hard Boiled)
Oil-2tbsp
Salt
Chilli powder-tbsp
Podi-4tbsp(1 for eahc egg)
Ingredients and method for Podi:-
Roasted Dal(senagapappu)-5tsbp
Grated Dried Coconu-3tbsp
Salt according to taste
Red chilli powder-2tbsp
Jeera-tbsp
Garlic pods-2
Roast all of them separately without oil.Cool them and blend into a coarse powder.
Method:-
De-shell the eggs.Slit the eggs on two sides of the eggs with a knife gently.Don’t slit too much as they may break.Put the podi inside the slits.Take a pan and heat 2tbsp of oil.hallow fry them fully till they turn golden brown.No need of deep frying here .Sprinkle salt and chilli powder.Goes well for breakfast or a side dish..I just loved this version!!
Podi Egg!
As I said H is a great fan of egg,he eats it in many forms.Am getting tired of trying new variations!! have prepared a simple egg fry with Pappula podi..(don’t worry I will give the recipe for this too).Usually I eat plain boiled egg for breakfast sometimes.But after tasting this,have started adding calories to my breakfast with Podi;)
