Don’t scold me for posting this simple recipe.I just love potatoes and can’t ignore to post this even thought it looks very simple…When am too tired potatoes are a great life savers..They are so simple to prepare and yummy too..I like to have them with any thing that is left over..rice roti or even bread 🙂
So here comes the recipe for royal potato roast today…
What you Need:
- Poatoes 1/2 kg
- Turmeric a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Curry Leaves
- Chilli powder 2tbsp
- Coriander powder 1tbsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
Peel the potatoes and microwave them for 20 minutes.Else you can pressure cook them for 2 whistles so that they will not become mashy while getting cooked.
Cut them into little bigger pieces
Heat oil in a kadai and add curry leaves.When they splutter,add potatoes
Throw in turmeric and salt and coriander powder.
Cook it covered for 10 minutes.then add chilli powder and cook it on a high flame for 10 more minutes without lid.
Cooking them without lid make them little crispy.
