Round Up-POTATO MANIA

Hi Friends,


Am really sorry for being this late.I had been stuck into some personal issues and mentally had no time to update on this food event.Please forgive me!I have got so many responses for my first event which made me very happy and its like an encouragement for me.I am really overwhelmed by all the responses I got..Its time to have a round up for my POTATO MANIA..

Jyoti’s Aloo Pathaka is sure a welcoming dish with lots of spices..the clicks are so tempting that I feel like  grabbing the screen into my mouth.Thanks Jyothi for this wonderful dish!



Ramya’s Poato Egg rice is something which I never heard of.I do either egg rice or pulav using potatoes but this combinations is sure a first time hit for me. that’s so lovely and I have tried it immediately after reading this post.It came out so good.




Potato Thoran is sgain a aromatic dish with a coconut touch!



Baked Potatoes-I am completely in love with them.Lovely version of fried potatos.So yummy.thank you Ramya!



Alu Bread Packets is a very healthy snack item with lots of nutrients.You could use wheat bread either and substitute with channa if you need a different healthier touch



Spicy Potatoes is again a rich dish which we can make for parties..Ramya made it very nicely.



Aloo Bonda really made me to drool.This traditional old recipe is very famous all over India both as a hoe food and street food.Thanks Ramya for the perfect Aloo Bonda Recipe



Stuffed Bell Peppers is really a cute dish with power packed nutrients from capsicum and potatoes.This is really a delight for kids as the shapes are  very inviting and the pepper colours are too good πŸ™‚



Princy’s Baby Potato Raitha is really a first time dish for me!Never in my life time i have imagined a raith with baby potatoes.But looks like we can have this with many of the rice dishes without gult of having fried potatoes!Cool dish..thanks a lot for this excellent recipe!


Potatoes and peas cooked in Cocunut gravy…how does that sounds??Very yummy isn’t it..This has been sent by spillthespices.blogpost.in.A very tempting dish which ges well with rotis and rice as well.It a kind of Aloo Mutter dish with a bash of coconut in it..Lovely aromatic dish..Thanks a lot for this recipe..



Baby Potatoes Creamy Gravy is another rich dish we got from spillthespices.blogpost.in.It looks very tempting and looks like baby potatoes are ruling the event! 



Alu Bhindi Peanut Masala has really taken me into a different world for few minutes,I love both aloo and bhindi equally and the combination of these two is a real good treat for my tummy.Just loved this recipe with the crunch of peanuts!!thank you very much for sending this tasty and lovely recipe.



Alu Curry is a traditional and most common dish which we can find in any Indian family.Though it a very common dish,it is the most popular one.Thanks a lot telugufoodies.com for sending this recipe

Sravs has sent us a tempting rice Alu Jeera rice This sdish is very inviting and can be made a center of attraction in any small get togethers.Lovely combo of potatoes and jeera.thanks you Sravs!



Baby Potato Roast sent by Harini is really awesome.This is a must try dish and I can really imagine the babgy potatoes melting in my mouth!Lovely and tempting dish..Thanks Harini..




Baked Sweet Potato Fries is a real different and healthy dish which is not known to many.The baked version eliminates lot of calories!Really ging to try this one day as and when I get to see them in my local market..Thanks Harinin for this different dish!



Potato Podimas from Harini is simple yet delicious dish which can be taken with rotis,rice or even used in chats.Thanks Harini.



Its again baby potatoes..Dum Alu Kashmiri is an nother version of alu dum from Harini..Lovely clicks and the dish looks very inviting!



Now comes the love of my heart..Rajasthani Kadhoo-I personally liked this dish very much as she used pumpkin in it.I just hate pumpkin at any cost but I knew its good for health and most of us try to avoid this as much as possible..I liked this version of using pumpkin very much .thanks a lot Anusha for this exciting and mineral packed recipe!


Aloo Parathas fro Harini are really inviting and making me to drool.Lovely authentic Parathas which can be found in any North Indian Family daily..thanks Harini for reminding us of this lovely Parathas.



Potatoes cooked in Mint and Coriander Sauce is really a healthy dish with lots of mint and cilantro flavours.Loved this version a lot.It is a must try dish!Thanks a lot to http://cuisinedelights.blogspot.in


Potato Krokets with Fenugreek is really tempting and crispy snack item from Chef Mireilli.A perfect evening snack!





Preethi’s French Fries are sure a delight for eyes.Crisp golden in

 colour.We don’t need to rush to outside to have these yummy chips.Just refer this recipe πŸ™‚



Potato Song looks very delicious and you got to tell me the secret 


behind the name of it  Preethi..:)



Cheese-Potato Pops have really stolen my heart.they look sooooooo yummy and am going to try these for the upcoming get-

together.Thanks a lot for the yummy snack item preethi.



My Life and Spice has send us a tasty salad called Potato salad with creamy cheese.This is very different and can be eaten for lunch or dinner.This is very simple to prepare.Please try it out.



Corina had sent us crispy samosas made of aloo and peas.Samosas are my all tim favourite and hope you also like them.Please try out this version.Thanks a lot Corina.The picture looks tempting.



Ragada Patties from Harini is again a mouth watering dish.Who can resist themselves from having these chat items on a cold evening?We can make them at home itself and enjoy without any guilt of adding calories.thanks  a lot Harini for this tempting dish.



I really had a virtual feast with all these lovely dishes and its being very difficult for me to choose one from the list.But there is one dish which my heart has fallen for…It is a very different and healthy dish and its uniqueness had made the dish to stand apart from its peers..Can anyone guess it???
