Tandoori Egg/Masala Egg/Spicy Egg Recipes

April 15, 2012 by Siri

YESS!! You read it right!!I often hear Tandoori recipes mostly in Non-Veg..but a thought came to me to try it with Egg..And that is how this recipe was born..It is very simple to prepare..You could even use these eggs for Egg Biryani..Usually if we order Egg Biryani in hotel, they will just give you a boiled egg placed on the rice..But in fact, these tandoori eggs make your biryani very special and give that extra kick!

What you Need:
Eggs Boiled -5
Butter – 2tbsp
Marination :
Curd – 1 cup
Red chilli powder – 2tbsp
Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
Garam Masala powder – 2 tbsp
Chat Masala – tbsp
Amchur powder – 1/2 tbsp
Corn flour + water
Pepper powder – 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
How I Made:
Mix all the ingredients specified under marination and set it aside.
Take the eggs and make slits on them with a knife.
Roll the eggs in the marination mixture and rest them for 15 minutes.
Heat a tawa and add 2 tbsp of butter.Stir fry the eggs until they become golden brown.
Sprinkle some chilli powder and salt as per your taste.
Add coriander leaves and serve hot with any pulav or biryani.
