Home Made Bounty Chocolate | Christmas & New Year Recipes

November 23, 2012 by Siri

Chocolates are always fascinating objects,,they have several forms and each one has it unique taste..I don’t like chocolates that much personally but thought I don’t have any chocolate recipes in my blog..So I started it with making bounty chocolate at home..Yes..Bounty Chocolate is a very easy breezy one to start with..Also this is Christmas and New Year season..So am planning to post more chocolate, cookie and cakes recipes..Now lets proceed to the sweet feast..

These chocolates are such melting sweet hearts…They will just melt in your mouth..and I used dark chocolate as I heard dark chocolate is good for heart..also the filling in this chocolate is so moist and flavourful..

Ingredients :

  • Dark Chocolate Chips – 1/4 cup
  • Desiccated Coconut – 1/2 cup
  • Condensed Milk – 1/3 cup
  • Coconut Oil – 1/2 tbsp

I used these dark choco chips and condensed milk

Take desiccated coconut into a plate.Add in condensed milk and mix well.Add in coconut oil and make a good sticky mixture such that it should bind together .Make round balls and keep them aside.

Now take your dark chocolate chips in a plate and microwave it for 50 seconds by checking once in a while .It will melt perfectly.

Start rolling your coconut balls in the chocolate sauce and coat them well on all sides. If you take more chocolate sauce you can just dip them in and take out at once. But I preferred to coat with less chocolate.

Set them in fridge for atleast 2-3 hours and serve them in your favourite wraps πŸ™‚

Hope you enjoyed learning to make these beautiful bounty chocolates at home..Try this for new year and send it to your kid’s school,am sure your kid will get super excited.

Also you can wrap them in beautiful chocolate wrappers and gift them for new year or Christmas..

Tip 1 : Please adjust condensed milk according to your sweet tooth.

Tip 2 : Don’t skip coconut oil as it keeps the inside of the chocolate super moist and flavourful.

Tip 3 : If you want the chocolate coting smooth, melt more chocolate and dip the balls rather than coating them.

Sending this super melting bounty chocolate to 60 days to Christmas
