Egg less Chocolate Mug Cake | Microwave Chocolate Mug Cake

December 27, 2012 by Siri

I made this chocolate mug cake before Christmas but somehow got a chance to post it only now..This  chocolate mug cake is egg less and can be prepared in just 2 minutes..This cake is so moist and each bite gives you a rich chocolaty flavour..I became a huge fan of these mug cakes seriously because of the cooking time..I am gonna try various kinds of  mug cakes in near future..

This mug cake is super quick and can me made in just 5 minutes.I made this cake in microwave, but those who doesn’t have it can steam in slow cooker using stove top but taste might vary,

I used dark chocolate to make this mug cake so feel free to have it more πŸ™‚
Preparation time – 5 min
Serves -1

Ingredients:
  • All purpose Flour/White Flour – 3 tbsp
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Milk – 2 tbsp
  • Salt –  pinch
  • Dark Chocolate chips – 2 tbsp( for cake) and few for sprinkling

Method:
1.Take all your ingredients.Take flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla in your  beautiful mug.

2.Melt chocolate chips in a bowl using microwave or double boiler method. Add sugar, milk and melted chocolate and oil..Give it a good mix and make it a runny batter.Sprinkle chocolate chips.

 3. Put your microwave on full power and cook for 2 minutes by checking in between after 1 minute.

Super moist chocolate mug cake is ready now to dig in..Enjoy it while it is still warm!

NOTES :
  1. Don’t cook for more than 2 minutes else the cake will become dry and will not come out moist.
  2. Steam the cake if you are not having micro wave.
  3. Replace the chocolate it with pea nut butter for a different taste.
  4. You can use coca powder in place of melted chocolate chips.
  5. Spray the mug with some oil or butter to make sure the cake doesn’t get stick.
