4 Reasons why you should not stop eating Oranges!

May 3, 2014 by Siri

While you indulge on all the yummy foods that this blog offers you, its equally important to be responsible for my readers to make them cognizant about various natural foods that Nature gifted us..So I started this series to enlighten you and inspire you to consume wholesome and natural foods and to choose healthy food options for the well being of your family..After all we all work hard and earn for it only right?

So why should you start eating oranges?

1. FOR A GLOWING SKIN

Yes..you read it right.Oranges contain lot of anti-oxidants like beta-carotene and Vitamin c which can prevent skin from signs of aging. They. They slow down the process of radical damage and try to keep the skin cells tight giving every possible chance to make your skin to look radiant.

Oranges contain vitamins B and iron helps body  build more haemoglobin and increase the flow of oxygen in blood. The blood gets purified in a better way which makes you skin glowing.

I absolutely never try to feed my skin with lots of creams..instead I would supply loads of fresh fruits to it..So who else want a glowing skin ?

2. PREVENTS HAIR LOSS

I love my hair! I feel its texture so soft like a good quality silk and then I always worried about its length, but am happy at least it is not falling off!
You know what collagen  means? It is the magic substance that keep the tissues in your hair together.Vitamin C in orange is required for the production of collagen. So while you grow older they can actually help you to prevent heavy hair loss. Who wouldn’t want to suck these yummy and juicy fruit?

3. ARE YOU A DIABETIC PATIENT?

Yes they are sweet and juicy and can satisfy your sweet cravings while your whole family is enjoying a sugary pudding leaving you all alone!

This magic fruit is high in fibre and high levels of glycaemic index which helps to absorb glucose thus making it as a good option for diabetic patients. Why worry about the thought of giving up sweets?

4. WHO WANTS A BAD EYE SIGHT?

No one isn’t it? This world is as beautiful as our mother. It gave us lot of joys and memories and the beautiful things around us made us lively..And all that we see is through our natural lens ‘eyes’..I know you all are making them look beautiful with your deep brown mascara or with this this night black kajal..but  why not pamper them a bit more?

Vitamin A, C and potassium in oranges helps to keep your eyes healthy and great.I will try to eat an orange a day to make sure I witness all the beautiful colours of my world!

I want you to eat the whole fruit as such so am not linking any recipes that orange is an ingredient!
Go grab a bag full of goodness when you go for shopping tomorrow!

If you ever try this recipe please consider sending me the feedback!
