Raspberry Yogurt Smoothie I Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

May 16, 2014 by Siri

“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.”

― Henry James

Summer afternoons reminds me of those little childhood days. Those days.. We would have our half day schools running only in the morning sessions.Afternoons are just so fascinating jumping here and there to catch some butterflies , staring at those colourful  ice-cream scoops that the ice-wala sells to those lucky people, making  paper boats and  betting them for chocolates.. and we would finally reach home in the late afternoon and sneak inside the house assuming that mum is in deep sleep! I just love those days..wish I could be a child forever.I completely miss the way I took pleasure in little things, playing in the sun was the one and only desire for me every day. There was no rush to reach goals; life was very carefree and undefined but still beautiful. There was joy and there was laughter in every minute we pass by .The smells of childhood are everywhere in me ..
Right , enough of my stories! What are you up-to this spring? It  has brought in many colours with it am and enjoying each and every fruit and flower !Certainly spring is the season of berries Isn’t it? I love getting refreshed my self snacking with colourful berries and sipping my favourite smoothies.Well I like to eat the fruit rather than to drink it, but when I do smoothie I always prefer yogurt, yes yogurt! Somehow I do not like the smell of milk since childhood and always avoided it, also using yogurt in the smoothies give it a creamy texture which I like very much, try this raspberry yogurt smoothie and you would love it too!
